Financial
As the economic health of American consumers becomes more interrelated with financial service firms, we advocate the development of a marketplace that is robust with appropriate consumer protections, including:
* Fair competition and disclosure for consumers by credit card providers;
* Assurance of consumer privacy standards for key financial information, as well as adequate consumer education and dispute mechanisms;
* Fair lending practices, particularly for those consumers in at-risk demographics groups;
* Identity theft protections that assist consumer victims in restoring their financial profiles; and,
* Banking policies that encourage competition for consumer business on reasonable terms.
We invite you to join us as we work together for a better America for all consumers.
